Tenant App
From-scratch development of a whitelabel app for housing-association tenants: report damage, retrieve documents — all in the association's own branding.
A housing association's tenants need a fairly boring set of things: report a damage, find a document, update their own data. Immomio sells that as a white label product, so the same app ships under several associations' names and branding.
Two things made it interesting. First, the forms are not in the app. The backend describes a questionnaire and the app builds the UI for it at runtime, because every association asks slightly different questions about a broken heater. Second, white labelling only works if the components are general enough to survive someone else's colours and someone else's wording, which is a discipline more than a technique.
I worked on the frontend across NativeScript and Angular with a GraphQL API and NGRX for state, in a SAFe setup, for a year. Two colleagues wrote references afterwards; both are on this page.
