A lean Android app that speeds up warehouse logistics — built with a modern Jetpack Compose UI.
A fire door manufacturer wanted picking to stop involving paper. The app scans a QR code per item and walks a picker through an order.
The second half was less obvious. Staff take photos on the warehouse floor, and those photos needed to end up in specific folders on the company file server, in batches, over the corporate WiFi. That meant talking SMB from an Android app, which is not a thing the platform helps you with.
